Part nine “FISH-O-RAMA; Tis was the night before Christmas”

Summary: Every body loves Christmas, right????
A/N: I still want a picture of Steve just for me!!!
Jared looked at the girls, sitting on the other side of the table.
Both Angela and Billie were busy looking over Christmas ornaments for the tree.
He was fidging a bit, but couldn’t get the right words out.
He and the girls had been celebrating Christmas the past years.
Being in college far away from home, made them family when they had gotten the apartment together.
Now as they were still living together, they took to celebrate all holidays together, if their parents didn’t demand them to come home - or paid their tickets…which meant that Angela never got to go home as home was Australia….but she studied in USA and her parents were proud of her…they just didn’t have the money to get her home all the time.
Billie’s family was going to Florida for a Spa Christmas and Billie had refused to go there, so the girls were gonna be home for Christmas.
Jared was almost falling off his chair when Billie spoke; ”So Jay, what about your Christmas?”
”Hmm????”, was all Jared could manage.
”Are you going home?”
”Ohh no, I´m gonna stay here.”
”Awesome”, Angela interrupted, starring at a pink goblin and putting it down for an early death in the trash, ”then you can invite Chris.”
Jared just stares at her. He really wanted to invite Chris, but he wasn’t sure if Chris had something better to go to.
The big problem was that Jared wasn’t sure where he stood with Chris.
He knew that he loved Chris..he had let him make love to him, that was what Jared was thinking about what he and Chris had done…that had not just been fucking, not as far as Jared was concerned.
But a guy like Chris would have like 100 other invitations for Christmas.
”SO” Billie says in a tone that just can’t be ignored, ”we’re gonna be four for Christmas dinner.”
“What..no.. I mean…what ..how….” Jared feels like flailing more, just to distract Billie and Angela.
“Have you asked Chris yet?”, Angela asks trying to sound casual.
“Ohmmmm…no..I ..hmmmmmmmm. I….” Jared leaves the table and starts pacing the living room, glancing at the Christmas tree; “ I haven’t asked him”
At that particular time, the doorbell rings and the three of them looks at each other.
No one was supposed to ring the doorbell now..Jared looks at the girls, but Billie looks at him with those big blue innocent eyes that she has.
Angela though..she looks down at the decorations and avoid his eyes.
Jared sighed;”Ange,” he said, “please tell me you didn’t…”
Angela looked op at him and smiled;” Come on Jare, you know you need some help now and then.”
In the meantime Billie had opened the door and revealed Chris on the other side of it.
Smiling she followed him into the living room, just in time to hear Angelas last words.
“Hey darlin”, Chris drawled, “what do you need help too?”
Jared buried his face in Chris` neck and didn’t say anything.
Chris looked at Angela that still smiled brightly; “So what did you do this time Ange?” he asked, running his fingers through Jared’s hair.
“Why do you assume I did anything?”; Angela answered trying and failing to look innocent.
“I have been around here long enough to know that you are always up to something, when it concerns me and the man I love,” Chris said, his tone a bit more firm than usual.
Angela just starred at him incredulously, but Jared raised his head so fast from its place on Chris´ neck, that he almost got whip-lash. The words Chris had said, it couldn’t have been could it?.
Jared starred at Chris with wide eyes, and Chris starred back at him looking confused.
“You do…” Jared asked in a voice just above a whisper.
“Do what?”, Chris asked confused, then it hit him what Jared was asking.
“Love you..of cause I love you Jared, don’t you know that by now?”
Jared nodded, tears in his eyes but the biggest brightest smile on his lips that Chris had ever seen.
“I love you Chris,” he managed before kissing Chris soft and lovingly. Chris smiled into the kiss then whispered into his mouth; “I love you Jared, I love you”
The boys broke their kiss, when just beside them, Angela and Billie were jumping up and down, flailing and cooing like a couple of pigeons.
Maybe Angelas interfering wasn’t so bad as all, Jared thought, when he turned to Chris and asked;” Do you want to spend Christmas here with me…..and the annoying fan girls.”
